About Cable Street
Cable Street are an acoustic trio based in Tisbury, Wiltshire. They got together during the lockdown of 2020, playing outside in the local churchyard!
This year has seen them playing at Bridport Folk Festival, Lyme Folk Weekend, Shaftesbury Fringe and Gold Hill Festival, as well as many local music nights and private functions.
Cable Street play a wide range of folk and folk-style classics and some more contemporary songs with a folk twist. With smooth vocals and beautifully arranged, original guitar accompaniment, there's something for everyone. Check out our videos to see what we do.
A typical set-list might include: Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Amy Macdonald, Carole King, Richard Thompson, Tracy Chapman, Fairground Attraction, KT Tunstall, Melanie and even Joy Division! Plus many more.
